Hey everybody. I want to try to make a random comic. Here's the idea, gimme 4-8 lines from a movie, and I'll make a strip from it, interpreting it entirely out of context. If I pick your lines, I'll send you a prize!
Ok, have at it. Leave your movie quotes in the comments please!

Karaoke and Bankruptcy
Had a great night out at karaoke! Got way drunk, and sang some tunes. I even played some pool! :D I'm back at work again, ready for another week. Even got up early today, did some sit ups and got to work on time. Start of a good day.
Agenda for later, find out how to self file bankruptcy. Lawyer was too expensive.

Preparing for Karaoke
...'Cause you can't jump the tracks We're like cars on a cable...
I'm hoping we'll get to go to Karaoke soon. Had a chance right after surgery, but I was still on meds, and not feeling up to it yet. I'm hoping that we'll try again after payday. That would be fun. So I'm listening to my iPod and thinking of songs I wanna do. I'm 99% sure that I wanna do this one:
Anna Nalick
"Breathe (2 AM)"
2 AM and she calls me 'cause I'm still awake,
"Can you help me unravel my latest mistake?,
I don't love him. Winter just wasn't my season"
Yeah we walk through the doors, so accusing their eyes
Like they have any right at all to criticize,
Hypocrites. You're all here for the very same reason
'Cause you can't jump the track, we're like cars on a cable
And life's like an hourglass, glued to the table
No one can find the rewind button, girl.
So cradle your head in your hands
And breathe... just breathe,
Oh breathe, just breathe
May he turned 21 on the base at Fort Bliss
"Just a day" he said down to the flask in his fist,
"Ain't been sober, since maybe October of last year."
Here in town you can tell he's been down for a while,
But, my God, it's so beautiful when the boy smiles,
Wanna hold him. Maybe I'll just sing about it.
Cause you can't jump the track, we're like cars on a cable,
And life's like an hourglass, glued to the table.
No one can find the rewind button, boys,
So cradle your head in your hands,
And breathe... just breathe,
Oh breathe, just breathe
There's a light at each end of this tunnel,
You shout 'cause you're just as far in as you'll ever be out
And these mistakes you've made, you'll just make them again
If you only try turning around.
2 AM and I'm still awake, writing a song
If I get it all down on paper, it's no longer inside of me,
Threatening the life it belongs to
And I feel like I'm naked in front of the crowd
Cause these words are my diary, screaming out loud
And I know that you'll use them, however you want to
But you can't jump the track, we're like cars on a cable,
And life's like an hourglass, glued to the table
No one can find the rewind button now
Sing it if you understand.
and breathe, just breathe
woah breathe, just breathe,
Oh breathe, just breathe,
Oh breathe, just breathe.

Brandy and the Cookie
...I looked around stupidly for a sec and then saw a short womanin a pretty... blue blouse smiling at me.
I hung out with Brandy yesterday!

I was a little early because I had to take care of my car payment before I could meet up with her, so I left my house early.
When I got to the mall, where we'd planned to hang out, I called her to let her know I was there. She'd had stuff to do too before coming to hang out, and she wasn't quite done, so she said she'd be there in a half hour. She also mentioned that she wanted to get something to eat when she got there. I was ok with that and told her so. I wouldn't eat with her, because I was supposed to go eat with the fam when I got home, but I would chat with her while she ate.
I waited, and waited and waited... or at least it felt that way! :) So about a half hour later, well, maybe 33 minutes, I was figuring I'd get a little snack and I was thirsty too. I stopped at subway and ordered a 21 oz coke and a sugar cookie. Just as the guy was ringing up my order I heard, "Hi Angi!".
I looked around stupidly for a sec and then saw a short woman in a pretty blue blouse smiling at me. It was Brandy! It took a second for my brain to catch up, I said hi back and then looked confusedly at the guy who was taking my money. We had never decided where we were going to eat and I didn't know if I should complete my transaction or not, because, what if she wanted to eat at not-the-mall? The guy had already poured my coke though, and I didn't want to make a big fuss over $2 bucks.
I grabbed my coke and my cookie and turned to Brandy to see what she wanted to do. We discussed it in a confused who-knows-what-to-say-when kinda way and finally settled on walking around the mall till it was decided.
We talked about how I went to Ross while I was waiting for her and she brightened up and said that she wanted to go to the Mexican restaurant over by the main movie theater. It was Tio somethings... I don't remember the full name, sorry.
We went to the Tio place, and she got a burrito, and I got a stuffed chile, only cause it looked sooo good, and it was! We talked about stuff, like how I met Rob. After we were done eating we walked over to Ross, cause she wanted to look around.
We talked about stuff while we browsed and she picked out some stuff she wanted to try on. She picked something and bought it then we left... well, I left and she went to Target. I had to go home to eat with the fam.
So, the reason for the long story is that it's actually a lead in to this morning. I never got around to eating that sugar cookie, and if you've ever had a cookie from subway you know they give them to you in those little paper bags. I was short on time this morning and looking for something to take with me to eat for breakfast, to basically tide me over till the donuts came (yay Friday!!), so I grabbed it from the table to take with me.
Just after I got to work I looked dubiously at the cookie debating on eating it or not eating it. After all, it'd been in that bag all night and was probably dry and crunchy. If you know me, you know I strongly dislike crunchy cookies. I was hungry though and decided to give it a try... I bit into it expecting a crunch and was very pleasantly surprised when ... mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm soooooffffttt coooooookiiiiieeee.

MySims

...My Sims for the Wii!!
New Game!! I love this game. It's simple, yet fun. I think I'm addicted to digging and building. I only wish it was two player. Or at least that you could visit other peoples' towns online.
That would be cool.

Blonde Joke

A blond was down on her luck.
In order to raise some money, she decided to kidnap a kid and hold him for ransom.
She went to the playground, grabbed a kid, took him behind a tree and told him, "I've kidnapped you."
She then wrote a note saying,
"I've kidnapped your kid. Tomorrow morning put $10,000 in a paper bag and put it under the pecan tree next to slide on the north side of the playground. Signed - A Blonde."
The Blonde then pinned the note to the kid's shirt and sent him home to show it to his parents.
The next morning the Blonde checked and sure enough, a paper bag was sitting beneath the pecan tree. The Blonde opened up the bag and found the $10,000 with a note that said:
"How could you do this to a fellow Blonde?"

13 days! Yay

...Happy Easter Everybody!...
Ok, I still don't have any photos of the house. I have some other pictures though! We went to a holiday (Easter) celebration today and ate food and hit pinatas and had general fun. It was pretty cool. The photo on the left is of my son. This was his first ever pinata thing. My daughter is an expert ... this was her second time. She's the one on the right. *grins*

Torture Tennis
...I thought the Wii primed me for playing this darned sportbut no... no it didn't...
OMG! Tennis is sooooo fun!
OK, so here's the story. A couple months ago we got the Wii. Wii's come with Wii sports. Wii Sports has Wii Tennis in it. So I played bowling, and Golf and all the games on the Wii... but whenever I got a chance to play single player, I played Tennis (we only had one controller at first, so it had to be single player). I'm pretty good at the Wii Tennis game now. So Wii Tennis turned out to be my favorite part of Wii sports, with Bowling as my second favorite.
So Since then we've been talking about getting racquets and actually playing tennis. So on Saturday, after my daughter's Gymnastics class, my daughter, my sister, and I went to a park down the street from my house to help her practice hand stands and cartwheels. As a side note to the story, I practiced cartweels too! I was able to do four in a row at one point. I'm a fatty so that's a big accomplishment.... lemme tell ya!

So, the park that we go to for those practices has a tennis court and my sister got to telling me how that's the one sport she really likes. She loves to play tennis! After the park we went home and were talking about all that to my BF. I had to go to wally world for something, so we were going to stop at the local used stuff place (in this case it was St. Vincent De Paul) to look for some racquets. We had been under the impression that racquets would be expensive, so that's why we went there. Anyway, we found a couple, but they were five bucks and they were all mini-sized or broken, so we left that place. My BF said we should check out Wallyworld since we would be going there anyway.

They turned out to be $8.88 but we got them anyway. I told my BF that I wanted to try them out before we went home, so we stopped at the aforementioned park and played for about 1/2 hour. It was so hard to hit the ball right! I thought that the Wii primed me for playing this darned sport, but no... no it didn't. I'm sure I was better than someone who'd never played anything like it before, but it sure didn't seem like it. The ball was all over the place, but after about 20 minutes we started really getting the ball to go back and forth like it should be. Mind you we scrapped the real rules for tennis in about 5 seconds once we realized that we were too green to get anywhere that way.
So the next day we went back again, this time with the kids. Now, I'll tell you right here that I was extremely sore from the tennis excursion the previous day, and the cartwheels. We played again anyway, and it was fun.
I love tennis. That's the moral of this story. I want to play more. Sunday, even though I was sore from playing both that day and the day before, I still wanted to go back for more once I got home and had some water. I'm going to go play again today. Yay! And probably tomorrow! Yay!
Here's some Tennis info (not an ad, just some stuff I wanted to be able to find easily):
