Cuppy Cakes and Surgery

...scared that they'll say I need to pay before I get treatment.

It's time for me to blog again. I have an update on my health, in case anybody wants to know. I have surgery to remove a lymph node on Thursday, and they'll also be putting in a port to make it easier to administer chemo. Which I should start a few days after that. This whole thing is phenomenally expensive. I'm anticipating a $4,500 + medical bill. Oh well, as long as I live through it I'll have plenty of time to pay them off I suppose.

I can't say that I'm not totally scared that they'll say I need to pay before I can get treatment. That would suck.

Anyway, so after the surgery, at some point I'm supposed to have an mri or something, depending on what my insurance will approve. I'm not looking forward to it because the last time I had one of those it was really scary. Of course, the last time was right after an accident and they wanted to rule out internal bleeding, so I was already freaked out from being there in the first place.

Well, that's all for today. I'll try to update a little more often, I'll tell you how my surgery went and how my chemo goes, depending on how I feel those days.

Thanks for listening. Oh, and I put up a donation button if you would like to donate to my treatment. If I get more than I need for my treatment, the rest will be donated to cancer research.

Paid Again!

...I really love Pay-Per-Post ...

I can't say a bad thing about it. Log in, get something to talk about and then blog about it. Talk about something you love, or something you like. Talk it up and get some cash. Extra cash to pay for your web host, or buy your friend lunch. And it's soooooo easy! I would recommend payperpost to anyone who needs a little secondary income.

It's easy to use the site. You just log in and click on the Available Opportunities. Pick one that works for you and whammy bammy you got one!
You get paid in a timely manner, and it uses paypal, so it's very secure.

I really love payperpost and plan to keep on working for them for a long time. I have even referred some of my family members their way, my sister, for example is a poet and loves writing. So I thought, what better way for her to earn a little bit of side income? She could totally do payperpost.

This is how much I've made so far in case you want to know: $65.50 I've written 9 articles so far, about a variety of things, including my impending lapband surgery, injet ink, and even online paper dolls! lol So many different options!

XMas Stress

...he's going to ask for money so he can buy me presents...

It's Christmas time again, and along with it the Xmas stress. I love going all out on Christmas. I'm not religious but I love the family celebration time. The presents, the fun times, making people smile! I love getting presents too! Rob still doesn't have a job, and I don't know how to make him understand how important it is for him to get one without sounding naggy. I love him and I want him to be happy but at the same time he kinda needs to buck up and get it done.

Luckily I have a pretty good paying job, so we do ok most days, but anything special or out of the ordinary really stretches us to the limit. It makes me stress and sad.
I know Rob is going to ask for money so he can get me presents, but I'd really rather he just didn't get me anything than to give him money to go buy something for me.

Arg.

Anyway, I'm really just venting and needed to get it all out. So, for my 5 readers out there, I hope you're having a good holiday season so far!

Blonde Joke

A blond was down on her luck.
In order to raise some money, she decided to kidnap a kid and hold him for ransom.

She went to the playground, grabbed a kid, took him behind a tree and told him, "I've kidnapped you."

She then wrote a note saying,

"I've kidnapped your kid. Tomorrow morning put $10,000 in a paper bag and put it under the pecan tree next to slide on the north side of the playground. Signed - A Blonde."

The Blonde then pinned the note to the kid's shirt and sent him home to show it to his parents.

The next morning the Blonde checked and sure enough, a paper bag was sitting beneath the pecan tree. The Blonde opened up the bag and found the $10,000 with a note that said:

"How could you do this to a fellow Blonde?"
