Lame update

I put up a new style on my blog. I'm not sure if I like it, but the old one loaded really slowly, and since I haven't been in much to blog, I figured I'd be nice to people who read this. At some point I'll finish what I started and I'll put up the new layout. it's really fricken' awesome, I just have to get down and do it. I will one of these days I suppose.

So anyway, I had a good weekend. So I'm in a super good mood today. I must have slept pretty well last night or something.

Life is going well. We've got most of our Christmas shopping done. We've been hanging out with friends, and black Friday is coming up. yay!! I've been steadily losing weight, except for last month, when I had an issue with my band. That's fixed now though.

Oh, also... I can braid my hair!! I tried it last night, and got like a 3 inch braid into it. Awesome.

Time and effort

...little update just foryou!...

So I've got all this time at home and all I can seem to do is lay around and be a cripple. I really would like to be up and about and doing stuff but it freakin' hurts.
Not that I should complain. It's not like I don't have any help around the house. The BF does the dishes and gets me anything I need, but I get tired of just laying around.

I've decided to start walking tomorrow, pain or no pain. Maybe that'll work some of the stiffness out of my legs.

Ok, that's enough complaining. My friend Esther recently told me that she's getting married. I'm not sure if I've mentioned that already, I suppose that I could go back and look at my old blogs, but nah, I'll just let it go. She's getting married on April 20th. I'm to be the officiant. I'm also making her a wedding dress. It's pretty nice, if you ask me. It's purple velvet, and will have white panels in the bottom that peek out when she walks. I really hope she likes it. I've made costumes before, but never a serious dress before. So, I'm also hoping it comes out ok. hee hee. It's a surprise, so really, if it doesn't, I can just not mention it, that way she's not disappointed.

Lifely Update

...I have a raging headache...

I was almost completely medicine free yesterday! Wahoo!! Hee hee. All I took were my asthma meds and that cleared most of my symptoms, which were, of course coughing! And more coughing! lol.

I'm working on my business website, and I've made some templates for some other websites, so I'm keeping busy. Also, trying to get Rob's book wrapped up. I'm going to be trying to get some editing done tonight. I was going to do it yesterday, but we had some family time (played mageknight and watched a movie) instead.

Right now I have a raging headache, but I already took an ibuprofen so hopefully it'll be gone soon.

Hawaiian Parable: Each child born has at birth, a Bowl of Perfect Light. If he tends his light it will grow in strength and he can do all things, swim with the shark, fly with the birds, knows and understands all things. If, however, he becomes envious or jealous, he drops a stone into his Bowl of Light and some of the Light goes out. If he continues to put stones in the Bowl of Light, the Light will go out and he will become a stone. A stone does not grow, nor does it move. If at anytime he tires of being a stone, all he has to do is turn the bowl upside down and the stones will fall away and the Light will grow once more.
