April 20th

...and she was stunned. She loves it...

On April 20th my friend is getting married. She's really more like my sister, we've been friends since I was 16. I'm going to be the "priest". I also decided to make her a wedding dress because she said she was gonna "wear a skirt or something..." and that just wasn't ok. You only get married once (or so they say, anyway.) and she should be in a beautiful outfit.

If I remember to take pictures, I will post them here. So anyway, like I said, I'm making her a dress, and it's almost done, and I had her over today to surprise her with it and make sure it would fit her.

When she came over I had her close her eyes and walked her over to it. I told her it was not finished, but that she could look. She did and she was stunned. She loves it. I had her try it on, to make sure it fits right, and it does. I just have to put a couple darts under her boobs because it doesn't do them justice. lol :)

I still have yet to finish the sleeves, and hem the bottom, and sew up the sides, but over all, I think it's gonna turn out great! :)

Time and effort

...little update just foryou!...

So I've got all this time at home and all I can seem to do is lay around and be a cripple. I really would like to be up and about and doing stuff but it freakin' hurts.
Not that I should complain. It's not like I don't have any help around the house. The BF does the dishes and gets me anything I need, but I get tired of just laying around.

I've decided to start walking tomorrow, pain or no pain. Maybe that'll work some of the stiffness out of my legs.

Ok, that's enough complaining. My friend Esther recently told me that she's getting married. I'm not sure if I've mentioned that already, I suppose that I could go back and look at my old blogs, but nah, I'll just let it go. She's getting married on April 20th. I'm to be the officiant. I'm also making her a wedding dress. It's pretty nice, if you ask me. It's purple velvet, and will have white panels in the bottom that peek out when she walks. I really hope she likes it. I've made costumes before, but never a serious dress before. So, I'm also hoping it comes out ok. hee hee. It's a surprise, so really, if it doesn't, I can just not mention it, that way she's not disappointed.
